Brothers, I invite all of you and your ladies to join Father Andrew White Assembly for a 60th Anniversary & Mardi Gras Celebration on Saturday, 18 February, in St. Michael’s council home, in Ridge. Recommended attire is business casual with emphasis on Mardi Gras colors: purple, green and gold. The evening will include a short program, but the focus will be on fraternity, fellowship and fun!

Here’s the plan:

5 pm      Mass
6 pm      Cocktail Hour
7 pm      Dinner by Rustic River: Pit beef, jambalaya, Creole pork chops w/ white beans
8 pm      Short program followed by Fellowship & Dancing

Also, please remember the dates for the Exemplification of the Fourth Degree: 17 March for priests and 14 April for everybody. Get your registration forms and payment in soon!

Faithful Admiral's Message

February 2012

Worthy Sir Knights, and any interested guests!  We are doing great in getting candidates for the Exemplifications on March 17, 2012 (for Priests, Disabled, and those who cannot make the main Exemplification) at St. Mary of the Assumption School, and on April 14, 2012 at the Colony South Hotel in Clinton, MD.  My tally of candidates today is 20 prospective candidates!  There are 2 from St. John’s Council, 5 from Immaculate Heart of Mary Council (including Father Dave), 6 from Immaculate Conception Council, 4  from Holy Face Council (including Father Calis!), and 4 from St. Mary’s Council.  As I mentioned at the last Assembly meeting, I need sponsors, or council reps for the candidates to get a signed Form 4, a registration form, and their money from each candidate and deliver them to the Faithful Comptroller as soon as possible.  If you need any help with any of this, let me know.  How about the councils with no candidates yet?  I need 1 or2 from each council!  And if you have a Priest as a prospective candidate, assure them that they will get to their commitments the day of the Exemplification in plenty of time.  If you are having trouble convincing them, then let’s get the Faithful Friar involved soon!  We are looking at an outstanding class for our Faithful Navigator, the Worthy Master and for our Patriotic Degree, and I thank you for your help!
