Brothers,

Mark your calendars for Father Andrew White Assembly’s annual Flag Day Awards Banquet, 14 June, at Victorian Candle B n’ B. We’ll gather at 7:30 pm (or, as soon as we can break away from our Flag Day duties) for refreshments and have dinner at 8 pm, followed by a short program. The Victorian Candle, located at 25065 Peregrine Way (just off Sotterley Road), in Hollywood, is owned and operated by Sir Knight Jim Dexter and his wife, Susan.
The menu will be the same as last year (it was SO good, I didn’t dare change it): smoked turkey with garlic potatoes, Susan’s string beans, salad, iced tea and hot coffee or tea, and the specialty of the house for dessert - Jim’s famous Pineapple Upside Down Cake. All of this for $25 per person, including a gratuity for the hard-working Dexter children. You may pay our Faithful Comptroller at the event.

Worthy Sir Knights and Worthy Brother Knights,

The hard work for membership is done for this Fraternal Year.  I would like to thank all for their efforts in recruiting our 12 new sir knights!  But the job does continue at a slower pace.  Continue to work with those Brother Knights who expressed an interest in becoming a Fourth Degree Knight and either arrange for them to get to a Fourth Degree Exemplification at some point during the balance of this Fraternal Year, or line them up for Exemplification next year.  Also, start to prepare other new Knights for the Fourth Degree next year, and we will be ahead of the game and will have an extremely successful membership drive next Fraternal Year.
