Worthy Sir Knights and Brother Knights:

I trust you are enjoying a wonderful Christmas season. Thanks to all who attended our Assembly Christmas Party and to all those who made it a success! Can you believe the fraternal year is half gone? It seems our installation of officers was just a few short weeks ago. The 2012 Exemplification is upon us!

We’ve been doing well on recruiting new fourth degree members, but verbal commitments must be followed up with form 4’s, registration forms and checks!  If you are a proposer/sponsor of a new Sir Knight (and we all should be), please follow up with your candidate(s) and get the required paperwork turned in to the Faithful Comptroller or another Assembly officer in a timely manner.

Help your priests and deacons to advance through the degrees and to continue to grow as Knights. And try this, if you haven’t already: Grow a Sir Knight from the ground up! Recruit a fellow parishioner/ co-worker/ brother/nephew/neighbor as a new member and then mentor him and escort him to all four degrees!

Faithful Admiral's Message

Worthy Sir Knights:

I wish you all a Happy New Year!  We are doing a great job at identifying Brother Knights who will become Sir Knights at the next Fourth Degree Exemplification for the Archdiocese of Washington District on April 14th (March 17th for Priests).  I currently have 15 candidates identified:  2 from 7914; 5 from 9968; 1 from 8159; 3 from 3849; and 4 from 1470.  Please all Sir Knights continue to recruit and communicate with me so that I can help you with anything you need for membership.  I need the Sir Knights in the councils with candidates identified to get with them and help them fill out the Form 4, the registration form, and pay their money (to our Faithful Comptroller, not to Ernest Harley!).

We need the number of candidates with paperwork and money turned in to go to 18 or above as soon as possible.

I’m available to help with anything related to Fourth Degree Membership.  I thank you for your help.
